Temporary road closure: Dundas Street between Waterloo Street and Wellington Street

Starting Monday, June 17, Dundas Street will be temporarily closed between Waterloo Street and Wellington Street as part of the ongoing work for the Downtown Loop Phase 3 project, until approximately Friday, July 5.

During this time, a signed detour will be in place for motorists using Waterloo Street, Queens Avenue and Wellington Street. People driving east and west on Dundas Street are advised to follow detour signs and use alternative routes, when possible, to reach their destination.

Dundas Place remains accessible from Wellington Street while the closure is in place.

People travelling through the area should expect delays and consider using navigation tools such as Waze or Google Maps

Bike lanes between Waterloo Street and Wellington Street will be temporarily closed, requiring cyclists to dismount and walk through the Dundas Street and Wellington Street intersection. Cyclists travelling east-west on Dundas Place / Street will not be required to detour and will be directed through the road closure to safely connect to the Dundas Street bike path.

Sidewalk access will be maintained on at least one side of Dundas Street and through the Wellington intersection.

Access to businesses and properties in this block of Dundas Street will be maintained during construction.
