Beginning Tuesday, August 17, Egerton Street north of Hamilton Road to Ormsby Street, and Trafalgar Street from Hamilton Road to Price Street, will be closed to all road users for the remainder of August for asphalt and concrete repairs and maintenance hole work.

Traffic in the area will be directed to use Hamilton Road, and a signed detour will be in effect for motorists along Highbury Avenue and Hamilton Road. All road users travelling southbound on Egerton are encouraged to use Florence Street.
Motorists are advised to check if their commute is impacted, and to plan ahead by using the Waze app.
Businesses remain open.
