Both Sunningdale Road between Hyde Park Road and Jordan Boulevard, along with Hyde Park Road between Sunningdale Road and Twilite Boulevard will be closed to all road users beginning Tuesday, September 7.
These roads will be closed until approximately the morning of October 7. This closure is to allow crews to complete necessary asphalt and sewer work in the area.
During this time, the intersection of Hyde Park Road and Sunningdale Road nearby remains closed as crews continue constructing a new roundabout. Construction at the intersection will be complete later this fall. There will not be any changes to the existing detour, and electronic signs have been installed to help direct vehicles travelling around the area.
Motorists are advised to look for signage in the area to help navigate around the closure, and to plan ahead by using the Waze app.
