Road Closure: Richmond Street between Dundas Street and King Street

Starting Wednesday, August 24, Richmond Street will be closed to all road users between Dundas Street and King Street to accommodate filming in the area. The road is anticipated to reopen the morning of Thursday, August 25.

In addition, the following lane restrictions will be in place to accommodate filming in the area:

  • The east and west curbside lanes on Richmond Street between Dundas Street and King Street will be closed the afternoon of Sunday, August 21, to the morning of Friday, August 26.
  • The east lane of Richmond Street from King Street to York Street will be closed the morning of Wednesday, August 24, to the morning of Thursday, August 25.

Londoners travelling in the area should expect delays and are encouraged to use Clarence Street, York Street, Dufferin Street or Talbot Street as alternative routes.

As a reminder, Queens Avenue from Richmond Street to Talbot Street is closed, as well as Ridout Street North between Queens Avenue and Dufferin Avenue as part of the Downtown Loop construction project.

Signage will be in place to notify drivers and pedestrians of all road closures and restrictions, and to assist with navigation.

Motorists are encouraged to visit the City’s Renew London website to check if their commute is impacted, and to plan ahead by using navigation tools such as Waze and Google Maps.
