Oxford Street East between Clarke Road and Industrial Road will be closed to all road users beginning Wednesday May 12 until approximately the end of the day on Friday May 14. This closure is to allow crews from CN Rail to make necessary repairs to a rail crossing in the area.
East and westbound vehicles travelling through the area will be redirected south around the closure using Dundas Street. Access will be maintained to local businesses.
Transit riders are advised to review the LTC detour if their route is impacted.
Drivers traveling in the area can expect traffic delays while this work takes place. Motorists are advised to check if their commute is impacted, and to plan ahead by using the Waze app.
