Starting, Tuesday, July 4, Commissioners Road will be temporarily closed between Westmount Crescent and Wonderland Road South to facilitate private utility work in the area. The road is anticipated to reopen approximately on Friday, July 7.
During this time, a signed detour will be in place for eastbound and westbound traffic using Springbank Drive, Wonderland Road and Commissioners Road West. Drives are advised to follow detour signs to reach their destinations and expect delays when travelling on Commissioners Road West.
Temporary sidewalk closures and restrictions will also be in effect in the area. Pedestrians are encouraged to use nearby streets to avoid these closures.
Some LTC routes and stops may be impacted during construction. Transit riders are advised to visit the LTC website for service updates and the most up-to-date information.
Access to residences and businesses will be maintained throughout this work.
