Colborne Street will be closed on Wednesday, August 30 between Princess Avenue and Dufferin Avenue (weather permitting) to allow London Hydro to complete necessary work in the area. The road is anticipated to be closed between 5:30 a.m. until approximately 6 p.m.
During this time, a signed detour will be in place for drivers using Waterloo Street, Central Avenue and Dufferin Avenue.
People driving through the area are advised to plan ahead by using navigation apps such as Waze or Google Maps and use alternative routes when possible to reach their destination.
Bike lanes and sidewalk closures may also be required throughout this work. People cycling and walking are advised to follow signs and are encouraged to use nearby streets to avoid these restrictions.
Access to nearby properties, residences and businesses will be maintained during this work.
