A section of Clarke Road at Veterans Memorial Parkway will be closed beginning Thursday, June 10 until approximately the end of the day on Tuesday, June 15. This closure is to allow crews to place surface asphalt along the road as part of the Veterans Memorial Parkway Northward Extension project.
North and southbound traffic on Clarke Road will be directed east around the closure using Veterans Memorial Parkway and Huron Street. Signage has been placed in the area to notify drivers about the road closure.
Motorists traveling through this area should expect delays while construction is underway. Drivers are reminded to consider downloading the Waze app for assistance finding an alternate route.
