Clarke Road between Trafalgar Street and Gore Road will be closed to all road users beginning on Tuesday, May 11 until the end of the day on Thursday, May 13.
This closure is to allow CN Rail to make necessary repairs to a railway crossing in the area.
During this time, a signed detour will be in effect for motorists. North and southbound vehicles travelling through the area will be redirected east around the closure using Veterans Memorial Parkway.
Cyclists can use the Kiwanis Park multi-use path (west of Clarke Road) to avoid this closure and reach their destination on the other side of the railway tracks.
Access will be maintained to local businesses and residences, but road users will not be able to cross the railway tracks during this closure.
Transit riders are advised to check the LTC detour if their route is impacted.
Motorists are advised to check if their commute is impacted, and to plan ahead by using the Waze app.
