Clarke Road between Fanshawe Park Road East and Kilally Road will be closed beginning Monday, March 22 for approximately seven weeks while crews complete repairs to the J.W. Carson Bridge.
During this time, a signed detour will be in effect. North and southbound drivers on Clarke Road will be directed west to Highbury Ave North to travel around the road closure.
Local traffic will still be able to access businesses in the area but will not be able to cross the bridge.
Motorists are advised to check if their commute is impacted, give themselves a little extra time if traveling in the area, and to plan ahead by using the Waze app.
