Starting, Saturday, January 27, Bathurst Street will be closed between Maitland Street and William Street while CN Rail completes necessary work at the Bathurst Street railway crossing. The road is anticipated to reopen approximately on Wednesday, January 31.
During this time, a signed detour will be in place for drivers using Maitland Street, York Street and William Street.
People driving through the area are advised to plan ahead by using navigation apps such as Waze or Google Maps and use alternative routes when possible to avoid the road closure.
Sidewalk closures and restrictions will be necessary during this work. People walking are advised to use nearby streets to reach their destination.
Access to nearby properties, businesses and residences will be maintained during this work.
