Adelaide Street between Central Avenue and Pall Mall Street will be closed the morning of Tuesday, June 22 beginning at 7:00 A.M. until approximately 12:00 P.M.
This closure is to allow crews from CP Rail to make necessary repairs to the rail crossing in the area. Drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians will not be able to cross the rail tracks during this time.
North and southbound vehicle traffic on Adelaide Street will be directed east to Quebec Street. Signage will be placed in the area to help drivers navigate around the road closure.
Transit riders are advised to review the LTC detour if their route is impacted.
Motorists traveling through this area should expect delays while construction is underway. Drivers are reminded to give themselves a little extra time when traveling, and to consider downloading the Waze app for assistance finding an alternate route.
