Overnight parking restriction comes back into effect November 1

Beginning Sunday, November 1, Londoners and visitors looking to park their vehicle on City streets overnight will need to register for a free overnight parking pass.

As part of the City’s overnight parking program, a maximum of 15 free passes may be issued per vehicle license plate and can be obtained online anytime, or by calling 519-661-4537, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Overnight parking passes are required between November 1, 2020 until April 30, 2021, at which time the overnight parking restriction is lifted.

The overnight parking program applies to most City streets. Londoners are reminded that all other parking regulations remain in place including parking where otherwise prohibited or restricted, such as in front of fire hydrants, on boulevards, front lawns, or streets identified by signs as being enforced. Before parking, Londoners should look for street signage that indicates whether parking is not permitted on that street.  Vehicles parked on city streets without a valid overnight parking pass may be ticketed.
