Adelaide Street North at Elias Street will experience temporary lane restrictions overnight between Monday, May 17 to the morning of Friday, May 21 while crews from Bell 360 connect telecommunications cables in the area. This work is part of the Adelaide Street North Underpass project and is being completed in advance of the underpass’ construction beginning later this year.
The work will take place each evening between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and involve partial lane closures. This work is not expected to cause excessive noise overnight. There will be no impacts to road users during the day.
The sidewalk in this area will be closed temporarily at different points during this work. Signage will be posted in the area to help pedestrians navigate any sidewalk closures.
Motorists are advised to check if their commute is impacted, and to plan ahead by using the Waze app.
