Beginning this week, City Council and Council’s Standing Committee meetings will now be held during regular City Hall business hours.
Council and Standing Committee meetings follow a three-week rotation.
Week 1
Monday: Community and Protective Services Committee meeting begins at 1 p.m.
Tuesday: Civic Works Committee meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.
Planning and Environment Committee meeting begins at 1:00 p.m.
Week 2
Monday: Corporate Services Committee meeting begins at 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday: Strategic Priorities and Policy Committee meeting begins at 1 p.m.
Week 3
Tuesday: City Council meeting begins at 1 p.m.
The 2024 Council and Committee meetings calendar can be found on the City’s website, along with upcoming meeting agendas, past meeting minutes, reports and supporting reference documents. Londoners can also find the descriptions of each standing committee, general matters each committee considers and the Council members of each committee at london.ca.
Council and Standing Committee meetings are held at City Hall. Members of the public are invited to attend in person by visiting the third floor of City Hall. For those that cannot attend in person, all council and standing committee meetings are live-streamed and can be viewed on the City’s website and YouTube channel.
Public Participation Meetings
A public participation meeting is a forum where members of the public can share their opinions, concerns and feedback on specific items listed on a Standing Committee agenda. Each meeting agenda specifies which items are for public participation. Anyone wishing to speak at a Public Participation Meeting can do so by attending in person, attending virtually or by phone. More details on the Public Participation Meeting process including how to pre-register are available online.
If an item is not listed as an item for public participation, members of the public are welcome to submit written communications to the Committee or to the Members of Council prior to the meeting.
