Starting Monday, October 10, 2022, there will be lane restrictions on Wonderland Road North at the Springbank Drive intersection until approximately Tuesday, October 18, to allow private work on a residential tower being built next to the intersection.
During this time, southbound and northbound lanes of Wonderland Road North immediately north and south of the intersection will be reduced. Left turns onto Springbank Drive for southbound traffic will also be restricted during this period, and drivers are advised to use Commissioners Road instead.
Advanced signage will be installed alerting road users of the restrictions. Motorists are advised to expect delays when travelling through the area and are encouraged to use alternative routes when possible.
Temporary sidewalk and bike lane closures will also be in effect in the area and pedestrians will be detoured to the east side of Wonderland Road to avoid these closures. Cyclists will be primarily affected in the southbound direction and will be directed to share the northbound bike lane to avoid the work area.
