Lane Restrictions: Riverside Drive between Queens Avenue and Dundas Street

Riverside Drive between Queens Avenue and Dundas Street will experience temporary lane restrictions from March 23 to approximately April 2 while crews complete construction of a protected bike lane across the Kensington Bridge.

Protective concrete curbs with flexible bollards will be placed between the vehicle lane and bike lane as part of the Dundas Street-TVP Connection project.

During this work, east bound vehicle traffic will be reduced to one lane and the bike lane will be temporarily closed across the bridge. Signage will be posted, and cyclists are asked to dismount and use the sidewalk when crossing the bridge.

Later this spring, the second phase of the Dundas Street-TVP Connection project will begin and construction of the new protected bike lane will continue east of the bridge and into the downtown to connect to the Thames Valley Parkway and Dundas Place.
