Intersection closures starting June 13: Brydges Street and Hale Street, Wavell Street and Saskatoon Street

Starting Monday, June 13, the intersections of Brydges Street and Hale Street and Wavell Street and Saskatoon Street will be closed for crews to complete underground watermain work for the Saskatoon, Brydges and Wavell Active Transportation project. The closures will be in place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays, and both intersections will reopen on evenings and weekends. The closures are anticipated to be in place until early July 2022.

Drivers will be detoured around the intersections and are advised to follow detour signs. Drivers are also reminded of the ongoing closure of Brydges Street between Highbury Avenue and Childers Street, for the Brydges Street, Muir Street, Swinyard Street Reconstruction project, which will be in place until late fall.

Cyclists are advised to dismount and use the sidewalk or to use alternative routes. Pedestrian access will be maintained through the intersections.

Several LTC routes are impacted by the closures, and transit riders are advised to visit the London Transit Detours website for the latest information.
