Downtown road closures for Country Music Week

As London prepares to celebrate Country Music Week and the upcoming CCMA Awards, some streets will be temporarily closed around Budweiser Gardens downtown on Saturday, November 27.

 The following streets will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic Saturday.

  • Dundas Street between Ridout Street and Clarence Street.
  • Richmond Street between Carling Street and King Street.
  • Talbot Street between Carling Street and Covent Market Place.

The area remains open for pedestrians and cyclists to visit. These roads, with the exception of Dundas Street between Ridout Street and Talbot Street, will reopen by the morning of Sunday, November 28.

 Nearby, King Street between Richmond Street and Wellington Street remains closed for the first phase of construction of the Downtown Loop

 Transit riders are advised to review the LTC detourif their route is impacted.

 Drivers are reminded to give themselves a little extra time when traveling, and to consider downloading the Waze app for assistance finding an alternate route.
