City of London plans aerial sprays to manage Spongy Moth

The City of London intends to manage Spongy Moth* (Lymantria dispar dispar) in the following five municipal parks:

The following pesticide will be used:

Product Name:        Foray 48B Biological Insecticide Aqueous Suspension

Active Ingredient:    Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies kurstaki

Registration No.      24977

Anticipated spray dates range from May 23 to June 17, weather permitting. The second spray event will take place 7-10 days after the first.
