This afternoon, crews are responding to an emergency sewer repair on Adelaide Street North between Dufferin Avenue and Lorne Avenue.
Northbound lane restrictions are currently in effect on Adelaide Street North while crews repair the road and sewer and will be in place throughout the weekend. Motorists can still travel through the area using one northbound lane and both southbound lanes this weekend.
This work will require a full road closure of Adelaide Street North between Dufferin Avenue and Lorne Avenue beginning the morning of Monday, May 15. The road is expected to reopen by the end of the day on Wednesday.
Drivers will be detoured around this closure using Dufferin Avenue, Elizabeth Street, and Lorne Avenue beginning Monday.
Pedestrian access is being maintained throughout the area.
Businesses remain open.
