Overnight lane restrictions: Queens Avenue between Richmond Street and Talbot Street for pavement markings

Lane restrictions will be in place on Queens Avenue between Richmond Street and Talbot Street overnight on Thursday, August 31 and Friday, September 1 to complete pavement markings as part of the Downtown Loop Phase 2 project. These restrictions are anticipated to be in place from 9:00 p.m. each night until approximately 6:00 a.m. the following morning, weather permitting. This work is anticipated to be completed by Saturday, September 2.

Signs have been installed to alert drivers of the restrictions and help guide traffic through the area.

As a reminder, Queens Avenue remains fully closed between Wellington Street and Richmond Street as crews wrap up the final stage of construction for Phase 2 of the Downtown Loop project.

People driving are advised to plan ahead by using navigation apps such as Waze or Google Maps and use alternative routes when possible to reach their destination.

Transit riders are advised to visit the LTC website for service updates and the most up-to-date information.

Businesses remain open and accessible during this work.
