London’s outdoor pools and wading pools opening in July

The City of London’s outdoor pools officially open for the summer on Saturday, July 1, weather permitting.

Londoners can visit london.ca/aquatics to find information on outdoor pools, including locations, program dates and program prices.

Several spaces are available for outdoor learn to swim programs and aquatic leadership programs, and schedules can be viewed on Play Your Way online.

Drop-in recreation swim, lane swim, aquafit and parent and tot swim sessions will be available at our outdoor pools this summer. Dates, hours and details related to these drop-in programs can be viewed on Play Your Way online. Registration is not required to attend these programs.

Aquatics opportunities for the closure of Thames Pool

Thames Pool will remain closed this summer due to ongoing infrastructure concerns. The City will be providing those impacted with free recreation swim passes and scheduled bus rides to South London Community Pool for free recreation swim sessions. Learn more at london.ca/recreation/aquatics-0.

Wading pools

Wading pools will open the first week of July. For a full list of locations and opening dates, please visit london.ca/pools. The hours of operation for wading pools will be added to this webpage in the coming days.

These amenities are free for use and have an aquatic attendant on site at all times.

Londoners are encouraged to follow the City’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages for updates related to aquatics amenities and programs.
