The Civic Holiday is Monday, August 7, 2023 and the City of London has fun recreation activities and free drop-in programs for Londoners of all ages.
The City is offering free recreational swim, basketball, badminton, aquafit and family open gym and crafts, just to name a few.
“We’re excited to offer a wide range of free recreation programs this long weekend. Recreation staff have worked hard to arrange these opportunities so Londoners can stay active or try something new,” says Jon-Paul McGonigle, Director, Recreation and Sport. “Please visit the website to see what’s available and take in a free program or two.”
Registration is only required for public skating at StarTech.com Community Centre. All regularly scheduled programs, including swim lessons, are running as scheduled.
