Fire Department to Ban Open Burning Effective April 1

The London Fire Department is advising residents that as of April 1, all open burning as per the Open Air Burning By-law F-7 in the City of London will be banned until further notice.

“The London Fire Department is currently operating with essential services only,” said Deputy Fire Chief Matt Hepditch. “We’d like to remind Londoners that yard waste is not permitted to be burned during spring maintenance.”
