City of London launching Play Your Way Online

The City of London is introducing a new online registration system called Play Your Way Online for residents booking recreation programs and facilities. This new system will allow residents to access programs, schedules, and facilities from their computer, tablet, or smart phone.

“Play Your Way Online will give Londoners a simplified and streamlined customer service experience when booking their favourite recreation programs and services,” says Mike Szarka, Supervisor of Parks and Recreation Customer Service at the City of London. “The registration process has been made easier, clearer, and mobile friendly meaning you will be in the class, on the field, or hitting the ice faster.”

Residents can create a new account and begin viewing spring and summer programs online at www.london.ca/pywonline beginning Thursday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m.

The City of London has been using its current program registration system for more than 20 years and is upgrading to improve the customers’ experience online as well as streamline service over the phone and in person at customer service locations.

“There are a number of new features that residents will notice,” says Szarka. “All program registration, along with some facility bookings, can now be accessed online 24/7, 365 days a year. Once customers have created their account, booking last minute ice time or a picnic site will be much faster and simpler. An advanced search function will also now be available to help find courses and facility information online.”

Old client ID and family pin numbers will no longer be used from the former Spectrum Online system. Play Your Way Online will require creating a new login based on your e-mail with a password of your choosing. Residents can still register for programs without an email address by registering in person at one of our seven customer service locations or over the phone at 519-661-5575.
