Temporary closure of the Thames Valley Parkway near Springbank Park

Starting Monday, October 31, the Maurice Chapman Walkway portion of the Thames Valley Parkway will be temporarily closed between the Springbank Pumphouse and the pedestrian bridge across the Thames River near Thames Valley Golf Course.

This closure is to allow crews to make necessary upgrades to the grading and catchbasins in the area ahead of the winter weather and snowmelt. This section of the multi-use path is anticipated to be closed for approximately three weeks during the work.

Signage has been installed to notify pedestrians and cyclists about the closure and guide cyclists around it using the East Springbank Gate, Springbank Drive, and Wonderland Road.

The public washrooms at the Springbank Pumphouse nearby will remain open during the closure.
