Councillor John Fyfe-Millar

Ward
13

A London resident all his life, John Fyfe-Millar lives and works in the historic Blackfriars neighbourhood of London. He is married with two children and very involved in the London community. John is familiar with the many priorities of a diverse ward that accommodates local area residents and businesses, historically significant neighbourhoods, high density office and residential areas and, of course, home to the downtown core.

As a problem solver John finds common ground by respecting various positions, using thorough and thoughtful enquiry, and by promoting engagement, collaboration and cooperation.  He is an avid supporter of downtown London and is acutely aware of the challenges unique to the downtown core. He loves to walk, and if you see him in your neighbourhood, say hello! Through constant engagement with residents and business owners he is intimately aware of the opportunities and challenges within the different neighbourhoods of Ward 13.

John’s extensive voluntary contributions bridge all sectors. Over the years he has been involved with the Blackfriars Neighbourhood Association, Regional HIV/AIDS Connection, chaired the Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Awards, and was Chair of the Committee of Adjustment for the City of London.

John is proud to participate in shaping London’s future and is humbled to represent all who live and work in Ward 13.
