Water Conservation For Your Business

Toilet leaks have a tendency to go unnoticed by business owners until they receive an extremely high water bill.  It is important to check your toilet from time to time and ensure that it is working correctly. 

Over the course of the summer, you can have an Eco Yard Evaluation competed at your business.  City staff will come out and help you get save on your water and electricity bills by making small changes to your landscaping. 

In 2011, the City rolled out a partnership program with Blue-W.  Volunteers went around to various businesses in London and asked if they would be interested in allowing Londoners with a place to refill their reusable water bottles. 

For any and all industrial rate water and sewer customers, the City provides a rebate for reducing effluent discharged to the sanitary sewer.  More information can be found in  Section 4(5) of the Sewer System Charges Bylaw.  Staff in the Wastewater and Drainage Department have more information if you would like to explore further, please call 519-661-4570.
