Public Workshop #1 (November 10, 2009)Photo of public meeting

The first public workshop was held on November 10, 2009 at the Western Fair Grounds and gave participants a chance to share feedback on big transportation issues and opportunities within London. This meeting was part of the first phase of the project which looks at where we’re at today, and developing a vision for the future. Thanks to all those who attended.

Public Workshop #2 (May 19, 2010)

The second of four public workshops was held on May 19, 2010 at the London Convention Centre.  This time, the meeting provided participants with the opportunity to explore the different transportation strategies being considered in order to develop a long term vision for the transportation in London.  Thanks to all those who attended.

Advisory Groups

Sustainable Transportation Roundtable Group

This group is made up of local stakeholders and organizations that represent a variety of transportation interests within London – the environment, the movement of goods, commuting, health, research, accessibility, safety, and many more. The purpose of the group is to provide advice to the City from the perspective of residents and businesses that use and rely on London’s transportation system every day.

User Vision Group

This community-based group is made up of about 40 London residents who represent the needs of transportation users in the city – young and old, students, professionals and retirees, people with accessibility challenges, transit riders, motorists, cyclists and pedestrians - from all across the city. The purpose of the group is to provide advice to the City from the perspective of people who use London’s transportation system every day. The User Vision Group will meet four times over the course of the study, providing their advice on each major phase of the Transportation Master Plan’s development.
