| Much of the business that comes before London City Council is first presented
to one of the Standing Committees. The Standing Committees,
which hear delegations from the public, present reports and recommendations
to City Council.
The role of the City's
Advisory Committees is to initiate and provide
recommendations, advice and information to the Municipal Council through one of
its Standing Committees ( Built and Natural Environment, Community and
Neighbourhoods Committee, Finance and Administration), and to carry
out the responsibilities which are assigned by the Municipal Council.
