Community Engagement Task Force

Final Policy, Report and Recommendations

City Council unanimously approved the Community Engagement Task Force's final report, recommendations and the policy. The Task Force mandate has been extended for up to an additional six months.

Report to Committee of the Whole

The Task Force met with Council's Committee of the Whole on November 7 and presented an update on their activities, along with the draft policy to date.

Purpose and Mandate

Community members and City staff as members of the Community Engagement Task Force have been meeting during 2011 to develop and recommend to Council a policy on community engagement. For more information please refer to the Terms of Reference  Report to the Finance and Administration Committee and the Summary of Activities undertaken by City staff.
